Dr. Kim arrived at Cumana in the evening via Dallas, Miami, and Caracas after 17 hours¡¯ travel. The class of Evangelism initiated on Nov 25, Tuesday morning at 630AM and finished Thursday evening. He is the pastor of Denton Korean Baptist Church, adjunct professor of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Asian Consultant of Texas Convention.
±èÇü¹Î ¹Ú»ç´ÔÀº 11¿ù 24ÀÏ ¿ù¿äÀÏ »õº® 4½Ã¿¡ Åػ罺ÁÖ µ§Åæ½Ã¸¦ Ãâ¹ßÇÏ¿© ´Þ¶ó½º, ¸¶À̾ƹÌ, Ä«¶óÄ«½º¸¦ °ÅÃÄ ²Ù¸¶³ª¿¡ ¿ÀÈÄ 9½Ã°æ¿¡ µµÂøÇÏ´Ù. ÀåÀå 17½Ã°£ÀÇ ¿©ÇàÀ̾ú´Ù. È­¿äÀÏ ºÎÅÍ ¸ñ¿äÀϱîÁö Àüµµ·ÐÀ» ¾Æħ 6½Ã30ºÐ-8½Ã, ¿ÀÈÄ 4½Ã-8½Ã °­ÀÇ·Î ¸¶¹«¸® ÇϽôÙ. ±è¹Ú»ç´ÔÀº µ§Åæ ÇÑÀÎħ·Ê±³È¸, ³²¼­Ä§·Ê½ÅÇпø ±³¼ö, Åػ罺 ÁÖ ¾Æ½Ã¾Æ°è ±³È¸ Äܼ³Æ°ÅÍ·Î ºÀ»çÇϽô ¸ñ»ç´ÔÀ̽ôÙ.


Dr. Kim is a man of prayer. His class was emotional and dynamic, and many moved by his lecture and testimony. All enjoyed last MDiv class of 2008 and class party provided by Dr. Kim.
±è¹Ú»ç´ÔÀº ±âµµÀÇ »ç¸²À¸·Î Àüµµ·Ð ¿­°­°ú °³ÀÎ °£ÁõÀ¸·Î ¸¹Àº Çлýµé¿¡°Ô °¨¸í¸¦ ÁÖ¾ú°í, À̹øÇб⠸¶Áö¸· MDiv Ư°­À̾ú°í ¸¶Áö¸· ÆÄƼµµ ¿­¾îÁֽþú´Ù.

Students prayed for his ministry. Dr. Kim did not have much time to look around Cumana, and visited a few interesting site, such as Catillo Cumana, Central Church, Brasil Sur church, etc. ÇлýµéÀº ¸ñ»ç´Ô²² ¾È¼ö±âµµ·Î º¸´äÇÏ¿´°í, ½Ã°£ÀÌ Çã¶ôÄ¡¾Ê¾Æ Áß¾Ó±³È¸, ²Ù¸¶³ª¼º, ºê¶ó½Ç ¼ú ±³È¸¸¦ ¹æ¹®Çϴ°͵µ ½±Áö¾Ê¾Ò´Ù.

This is typical transportation system for the students of the Universidad de Oriente. University-operated-bus is free and 7 destinations all around city of Cumana, but cannot cover all directions. Àú°¡ ÀºÅðÇÑ ¿À¸®¿£¶¼ ´ëÇб³ (UDO)ÀÇ Çлýµé ÅëÇÐ ¹ö½º´Â ÀüºÎ ¹«·á·Î 7°³ ·Î¼±¿¡ ¿î¿µ µÇ°íÀÖ´Ù. ±×·¯³ª ´ã´çÁö¿ª¿Ü¿¡´Â ¼ÒÇü¹ö½º°¡ À¯·á·Î ¿î¿µµÈ´Ù.

So some micro-buses and modified pick-up truck are operated as students¡¯ cost, $0.30 each ride. À¯·á ¹ö½ºµéÀÇ ¸ð½ÀµéÀÌ ´Ù¾çÇÏ´Ù. ÇÈÀ¾À» °³Á¶ÇÑ ¹ö½ºµî. ÀÏȸ ½ÂÂ÷ ¿ä±ÝÀº ¹ÌÈ­ 30Àü Á¤µµ.


Private school ¡°Domingo Montes¡± moved in Seminary building and hopefully we can influence their moral and ethical behavior to be a good citizen and some continue studying at seminary. Ä«¸®ºê º¹À½½ÅÇпø ÀÚ¸®¿¡ ¿Ã±ä ¡°µµ¹Ö°í ¸ó¶¼¡± ÁßµîÇб³ Çлýµé ¸ð½À. °ð Å©¸®½ºÃµ Çб³·Î °³ÆíÇϵµ·Ï Áغñ Áß ÀÌÁö¸¸ »çȸÁÖÀÇ·Î ÇâÇÑ Á¤ºÎ¹æħÀÌ °ü½É»ç´Ù.


My wife Kumja was hospitalized last Friday after Dr. Kim left Cumana. She had the classical ¡°Dengue¡± infection, but is recovering very well and may return to home before this week-end. »ç¸ð°¡ Áö³­ ±Ý¿äÀÏ 28ÀÏ ±èÇü¹Î ¹Ú»ç´ÔÀÌ ²Ù¸¶³ª¸¦ Ãâ¹ßÇÑ ÈÄ ±Þ¼º ¡°µ§°Ô¡±·Î ÀÔ¿ø ÇÏ¿´À¸³ª, ±ÝÁÖ ¸» Àü¿¡ ÁýÀ¸·Î µ¹¾Æ¿Í ¿ä¾ç ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖµµ·Ï ±âµµÇÑ´Ù.
